Centennial Scholarship Award

Brief Description

The JTHS BAA Centennial Scholarship is a $1,000.00 scholarship awarded to one student at JT Central and one student at JT West.  The 2017-2018 school year marks the seventh consecutive year that these scholarships will be awarded.

The JTHS Band Alumni Association (BAA) proudly announced the first two recipients of the JTHS Band Alumni Centennial Scholarship Award during the centennial celebration alumni band concert - A Century of Musical Excellence - on July 29 2012. The JTHS Band Alumni Centennial Scholarships have been made possible by a generous commitment from the JTHS Band Alumni Association (BAA). This scholarship was introduced to commemorate the 100th  year anniversary of the Joliet Township High School Band in 2012. The scholarship fund is a result of on-going fund raising efforts of the JTHS BAA together with the generous donations of band alumni, supporters and friends. The JTHS BAA hopes to continue to award this scholarship in the future with the continued support of friends and alumni who may elect to make donations to this scholarship fund.  Future scholarships will be advertised on the JTHS BAA website – www.jthsbaa.org.
