100 years of music

Ardis (Goeken) Garfield's high school years in the early 1940s were indeed impressive. She had the distinction of being the first girl to perform as a member of the championship Joliet Township High School Band under the direction of the noted A.R. McAllister.

Bowling Fundraiser a Success!

The JTHS Band Alumni Association (BAA) held its 2nd annual Scotch Doubles Bowling Fundraiser to benefit its Scholarship Fund.  The event was held at Town & Country Bowling Lanes. According to President, Brad Uffelmann, "It was a total success and raised twice the proceeds for the scholarship fund as in the previous year."
